Yes, technically it is Spring, but it sure doesn’t feel like it! There seems to be a lot of switching between my heavy winter coat and my lightweight trench. Today’s outfit incorporates pastel spring vibes and soft pleats all while keeping warm! This olive pleated skirt can be worn year round and with so many different colors/prints. It’s a true neutral and the pleats are so classic. The lavender cashmere sweater was a no brainer to pair up with the skirt. With v-neck sweaters, it’s important to wear longer necklaces to elongate your torso, which is why I chose this gold/crystal fringe piece. As I have mentioned before, I usually don’t wear too much arm candy, and today is no exception. Yes, I do have multiple bracelets on, but it is merely 2 gold bangles and an embellished lucite bracelet. They are neutral enough to blend in with the rest of the look, but are still important to make an impact. You can’t forget tights-they provide that much needed warmth in these crazy temps! I look forward to those 60 & 70 degree consistent weeks.
You really can’t go wrong with leopard flats, and these calf hair printed beauties have definitely stuck by me for a while now. I’m dreading the day when I have to replace them! Leopard anything is an essential to any budding fashionista’s closet. It simply goes with anything and everything! The final accessory I will mention is my small Louis Vuitton pouch. It is great on its own to carry your needed essentials, but it’s also fine to throw it in a larger work bag and have it for happy hour after work:-) Now bring on those warmer temperatures so I can really wear my spring wardrobe!
