“This heel is so beautiful and exotic,” says M.Gemi Co-Founder Maria Gangemi. “It plays nicely against the super soft nubuck upper—it’s not quite color blocking, but it still serves up that same graphic punch. It’s a blocked heel, one of our favorite shapes because it’s so wearable, wrapped with python-stamped leather. Our tannery in Santa Croce developed a specialized by-hand technique to achieve the most genuine looking snake print. First, they put the leather through the tanning process to give it a uniform color. Then, they take a metal stamp to cut the scales and hand paint the dark and light coloration, mimicking the patterns of real snakeskin to give it the most realistic look. I love the way this boot is a play on color contrasting, material mixing, and texture-on-texture all at once.” Edition 2.11 arrives tomorrow morning at 10AM. #lovemgemi

1.) Christos Costarellos: Remember when we saw Jenna Lyons’s attend Solange Knowle’s wedding with a gorgeous ivory feather skirt, white button down & fur jacket?  After extensive searching online for that exact skirt, hearts were crushed after finding out it was no longer available.  Well, I have good news!  Christos Costarellos has created these feathered stunners for A/W 2016 and they come in some lovely pastel colors!  They are currently available for pre-order, so check out his page to find out more info.

2.) Edie Parker: After scrolling through the Edie Parker Instagram page, the first thing that caught my attention was their “Mrs.” clutch.  Two things I absolutely adore are anything that says “Mrs.” and tortoise print!  This acrylic tortoise clutch is so classy, and the uneaven edges make it look so unique.  If you are looking for a great investment clutch and want to personalize it, look no further than Edie Parker!

3.) Johanna Ortiz: Johanna Ortiz is a Colombian fashion designer that has been featured in Vogue, Marie Clair, Glamour, & Harper’s Bazaar.  Her designs have been seen on my 2 favorite fashion muses: Olivia Palermo & Blair Eadie.  I was especially drawn to her “Royal Book Keeper” collection, which features ruffles, volume, silk floral patterns, and luscious velvet.  I pretty much want the whole collection, so there you have it!

4.) M. Gemi: M. Gemi has some really adorable handcrafted footwear that is all made in Italy.  These snakeskin heel sandals would be perfect to wear with a white off the shoulder dress for spring/summer.  The neutral upper part of the sandal makes it effortless to wear with many colors/prints and the colored python heel adds an unexpected twist!  You all know how passionate I am about Dress for Success, so when I found out that M. Gemi has partnered with DFS, I was hooked:-)  Their initiative #makesomeroom makes it easy for you to donate a pair of your unwanted shoes for ever pair that you purchase from M. Gemi.  What are you waiting for?  Get shopping:-)

5.) Ladybird: If you are looking for some super chic footwear like these Matiko fringe sandals, look no further than Ladybird boutique in the Short North.  The carefully curated boutique carries brands such as Loren Hope, ALV Jewels, Equipment, Acler, Cami NYC, Keepsake the Label & many more.  If you want to really stand out in a crowd, pop on in to Ladybird to find some one of a kind pieces!

Hopefully you have something fun planned this weekend!  I am off to visit my parents for the weekend to celebrate my mom’s birthday.

We shall meet again next week:-)
